Hobi hostel boutique
Our hostel was born from a long journey and a dream — the dream of showing people the place where I, Ricardo (the owner), was born.
Back in 2019, I tried to open the hostel here in this same neighborhood, but after failing to find a house that truly fit what I envisioned, I decided to start in Campo Belo instead. The truth is, the idea never left me. Even the name itself — Hobi, short for Hostel Bixiga — stayed as a promise to return one day.
Years later, in 2023, my childhood friend called with a proposal for this house. From that moment, everything started to come together. I worked on the architectural design, sought the city’s approval (since this is a protected historic site), and carried out deep historical research. The result is a place filled with stories printed on the walls, painted in colors carefully chosen, where even the linens, pillowcases, and curtains were handmade by me.

We strongly recommend you to keep your belongings locked into the lockers as only the common areas are surveiled by cameras. All beds have 2 electric sockets and an individual lamp. Notice: the highest bed are 2 meters tall, not recommended for people that fear heights.
